Perfect Palette

Could not be more infatuated with the color palette in the restoration of this Ohio 1890's German Village house. The combination of the modern creamy whites with aged dark woods and industrial accents is quite dreamy...

Monday Mild Obsession: Pino

Isn't this fun and colorful little store in Finland so refreshing? Pino (which means 'pile' or 'stack' in Finnish) offers unique, functional and innovative design objects while boasting great interiors and a playful, rocking brand identity. And what about those windows?! If I could steal them I would.

Local Native

Tribal prints have made their appearance here and there recently and are nothing new, but lately, this trend is popping up everywhere I turn. And I'm not going to lie, I kinda like it...

A few things I'm loving this past week:

Monday Mild Obsession: Striped Walls

I don't know why but every year when Spring hits, I am crazy about stripes. They are so simple and classic but have the power to make such a bold statement, in fashion and interiors alike.

If we owned our own place I would definitely do this. However, the aspect of painting the stripes myself is a little intimidating. For instance, last month this painting project became a DIY that turned bad (don't even ask) and it's size is quite the small fraction of an entire wall. Regardless of the labor of love aspect (if you do it yourself), striped walls can be such a fun accent to any room or home - as subtle or wild the color you choose - and the finished result is by far definitely worth the work.

Keep Dreaming

Oh, there is just too much interior goodness out there. Here are some things I am coveting as of late:

{ daybed + neutrals }

***

{ trough sink + herringbone wood floor }

***

{ perfect pantry }

***

{ cozy corner }

***

{ studded headboard }

***

{ polished chairs }

***

Closet Space

Why keep it all hiding away where no one can see?
