I don't know why but every year when Spring hits, I am crazy about stripes. They are so simple and classic but have the power to make such a bold statement, in fashion and interiors alike.
If we owned our own place I would
definitely do this. However, the aspect of painting the stripes myself is a little intimidating. For instance, last month
this painting project became a DIY that turned bad (don't even ask) and it's size is quite the small fraction of an entire wall. Regardless of the labor of love aspect (if you do it yourself), striped walls can be such a fun accent to any room or home - as subtle or wild the color you choose - and the finished result is by far definitely worth the work.
